真ん中ではカフェもオープン。

These banana are not sweet. You have to bake them to eat.

食感はネットリとしていて、味も濃いさつまいものような感じです。

Its texture is thick and it tastes like sweet potato.

It has minty flavor. Refreshing, but very strong if you sniff its oil. The use are for stuffing nose, general cold, etc. Some sites said that it'd be good for muscle pain if I use it when massage, so

コーディネーターの大川文子さんのお話では元々ケーキ屋さんだったのが、パンを作り始めて評判になったとか。

According to Fumiko Okawa, coordinator in New Caledonia, said that they used to be patisserie, but started to make breads too and it took off well.

race: LA TRANSCALEDONIENNE 2011

週末の７月２日・３日、ニューカレドニアで開催されたLA TRANSCALEDONIENNE 2011の取材を終え、帰国しました。

I came back from New Caledonia for a race report of LA TRANSCALEDONIENNE 2011 which was held on July 2 and 3.

通貨はパシフィック・フラン（XPF）、約１円＝１XPFです。

Their currency is Comptoirs Francais du Pacifique franc (XPF). About 1 JPY= 1 XPF.
