event: Venice Marathon running event 2011

昨年も行ったヴェニスマラソン・プレイベント。今回は南蛮連合から助っ人石川さん（左）・ポールさん（右）登場です。

２チームに分かれて出発。

Run in two teams.

皇居周辺でも先日の台風１５号の被害が。

The typhoon No. 15 left some damages around Imperial Palace, too.

キンモクセイに加え、彼岸花の季節ですね。

In addition to orange osmanthus, lycoris is in the seasons.

今年も白い彼岸花がありました。

There are white ones, too.

皆さん軽く20kmをクリア。

We run 20km.

「まだまだ行けるでしょう〜」「いや、大会にとっておきます」

"Can you run bit more, can't you?" "I'll save it for a race!"

こちらはランニングマガジン・クリールの樋口編集長。今回、現地にも同行取材なさるそうです。

地元・広島で開催のトレラン大会のお知らせです！

I'd like to introduce a trail running race in Hiroshima, my hometown.

2011 Mihara Lake Hakuryuko Trail Running Race

白竜湖と言えば、ゴルフのイメージが強い私ですが、トレランのコースになるとは。

Re. Lake Hakuryu-ko, I have a strong image of golf since I was little, but never thought of it for a trail running race field.

三原は有名どころで言えばやっさ祭り、ゆかりの人は新藤兼人映画監督（日本最高齢の現役映画監督。『午後の遺言状』 など）、「マサカリ投法」の村田兆治さんです。他に何かあったら教えてAさん（地元ティです）！

Mihara is famous about Yassa festival, people who have a connection with Mihara are Kaneto Shindo, the oldest but active film director in Japan ("A last note" etc.), Choji Murata, famouse with "masakari (broadax) style" pitching form because his motion looks as if he is swinging a masakari. If I miss anything, let me know A-san, who is from Mihara.

あれっ、でもこの大会、同じく広島県山県郡の第２回 安芸太田しわいマラソン2011（88kmウルトラ）と同日開催…！？

Wait, is this race held on the same day of The 2nd Aki Ota Shiwai Marathon 2011 (the first 88km ultra marathon in Hiroshima)!?

今週も南蛮連合の水曜インターバル練習（400, 1000, 1200, 1200, 1000, 800, 400m）に参加して、仕上げは再び八幡湯。
I took part in Namban Rengo Wednesday interval workout (400, 1000, 1200, 1200, 1000, 800, 400m) in Oda field this week. I used Hachiman-yu again after that.

銭湯で何が楽しいって、こういう小物。

It's fun to see those mini size shampoo and rinse bottles.

八幡湯のお母さん（上の写真に手でご出演）によると昔は渋谷区に５２軒の銭湯があったそうですが、今は１５軒まで減ってしまったとか。八幡湯さんは半世紀以上、こちらで営業なさっているそうです。

According to "Mother" from Hachiman-yu that there were 52 public bathes in Shibuya ward, but now it's only 15. Hachiman-yu has been here for over a half of a century.

ランナー御用達としてだけでなく、区民の皆さんに愛される八幡湯さん。これからも長く続いてほしいです。

Hachiman-yu is beloved by not only runners, but also ward residents. Wish more people use them for a long time from now on, too.
