Calvin Ho "MEMORIES"

DESIGN 小石川にて香港ベースのグラフィックデザイナー、Calvin Ho氏が東京DESIGN小石川にて日本初個展開催。

同氏が２年間、世界を旅しながら制作した作品を展示。東京でも展示開催中、制作を続ける予定。

kuluskaさん運営のLIFE&CRAFTS LABにて、ドキュメンタリー映画『スーパーローカルヒーロー』上映。
A documentary film "Super local hero" screening at LIFE&CRAFTS LAB, which kuluska runs.

zine by the internet printing

なんだか新鮮な形のオンデマンド。

Somehow it's kinda new to me.

어쩐지 신선한 온 디맨드(on-demand)의 모습. 

友人のさわちゃんはZINE発行者。SNSで「フリーペーパーリハビリ10号、インターネットプリントできるよ」と聞いたので、近くのセブンイレブンに。

Sawa-chan, a friend of mine, does zine publishing. I saw her SNS note that now her latest issue is on the internet printing service, so dropped by seven-eleven to get it printed.  

친구의 사와지은은 ZINE발행자. SNS에서 "Free paper 리하비리10호, 인터넷 프린트할 수 있슴"라고 들었어 가까운 세븐일레븐에. 

指定の番号を入力すると、データの受信が始まります。
As soon as I pin numbers, downloading data got started. 
지정의 번호를 입력하면, 데이터의 수신이 시작됩니다. 

はいっ、いっちょ上がり！

Ta-da~!

今日日（きょうび）当たり前と言えばそこまでだけど、自宅でも会社でもない、第三の場所に行き、必要なだけ印字して、情報を得る。新しいZINEの形。

It's totally normal at today, if you may say so, but go to the third place, print it out  upon your needs to get information. A new zine style to me. 

이제 당연이라고 말하면 거기까지이지만, 집에서나 회사에서가 아닌, 제삼의 장소에 일부러 가서 필요한 것 만큼 인자해 정보를 얻는다. 새로운 ZINE의 모습.

でもね、さわちゃん。A3のフチぐるりが白ぅ切れとるんよ。次号は全部読めるといいなぁ（笑）

the meaning of...

存在すべきである、と自分で信じる／信じることのできる本を作る。
있어야 한다고 스스로 믿는 책을 만든다. 
This has to be existed. I do publish that kind of books.

韓国ソウル、YOUR MINDのIROさん（右）による、講演のしめくくりの言葉。

ご自身でも、ソウルにてイベントunlimited-editionを開催。小規模で製作されている本や雑誌、レコードなどが直接販売・購入できるこのマーケットは６年前、ほそぼそと始まったが、回を重ねるごとに参加者も増え、最近では会場で「やぁ、この一年元気にしていたかい？」と挨拶を交わし合うクリエイターの姿がよく見られ、このイベントがまるで１年に１回ある家族行事のようにとらえられているのでは、と語っていました。

He even organizes the event called unlimited-edition in Seoul. This fair has started six years ago but it had such a small turnout back then. But after years, more people have joined and now they look forward to it like the annual family event to say hello each other to see how they've been after one year separation.

처음에는 외롭게 시작되었지만 회를 거듭할 때마다 참가자도 늘어나고, 최근에서는 회장 나와 "이 일년도간 잘 지내고 있었어요?"라고 서로 인사를 나누는 크리에이터 모습이 잘 보여지데요. 이 이벤트가 마치 일년에 한번밖에 없는 가족 행사와 같이 붙잡혀 있는지 아닐까 싶네요.

ZINEづくりだけでなく、生きること全てに関わる気がします。

His phrase is about not only the production of ZINE, but also is about everything in our lives. 

ZINE만들기뿐만 아니라 삶 모두에 관계된다, 이런 생각이 듭니다.
