ゴムをかけるタイプのゲートルを使っていますが、最初についていたゴム紐は2回くらいで切れてしまいました。その後は100円ショップで太いゴム紐を買って来て、チクチク縫いつけましたがそれも時間の問題かと。
I'm using a pair of gaiters with rubber strings. The original rubber strings were gone after using them twice or so. Although I sewed wider rubber strings which I bought at 100 yen shop, it seems only a matter of time.

靴のかかと部分に強力面ファスナーをとりつけ、ゲイターにあらかじめ貼ってある面ファスナーと合わせて使います。面ファスナーが取れた場合でも、有償で取り付け直してもらうことができるそうです。
You put strong wide fastener attach at your shoe heel and put together with pre-glued on a gaiter. Even if a fastener is peeled off, you could get an replacement with small cost.
ちなみにベルクロテープは米ベルクロ社の、マジックテープはクラレの商標だったのですね。
Velcro's Tape is Velcro's, in the States, and magic tape is Kuraray's trademark.
ところで面ファスナーで思い出したのがこのオナモミ。広島では「ひっつきもっつき」といいます。仲がよく、いつも一緒にいたりする兄弟や、お母さんにべったりな様子を表したりにも使った気が。
btw, a wide fastener reminds me this, Xanthium strumarium. We call it "hittsuki-mottsuki" and also use it to describe little brothers and sisters are very close or a kid is always around his mother all the time.
